Change
is Good
Just as the seasons
are beginning to change, let this be an inspiration
to “transform” your living
space. Especially those living in the northern half
of the United States, the cooler weather will force
you
to spend more time indoors. Take the time now to
clear out clutter and reduce the feeling of being “trapped” inside
close quarters!
Nothing feels better than open,
uncluttered space amidst nicely chosen pieces of
furniture and
accents
in a
room….and
it doesn’t have to cost a fortune! Start
by re-arranging existing furniture—both within
and between rooms (some cleaning may be required
in the process to catch
those lurking dust bunnies). Top it off with some
seasonal decorations such as autumn-colored candles,
baskets
and bowls full of pinecones and gourds, or vases
of flowers
(silk or live) to add the finishing touches.
After the holidays, some additional purging may
be required to make room for newly acquired items.
Make
it your theme
to take into the New Year. “Out with the old, in
with the new” can be applied to many facets
of your life. Stay tuned for more tips and helpful
advice
to organize your home and office!
